This farm practice training was conducted at Barangay Cabuco, Trece Martires City for a period of four months, August to November 1985 in the field tenanted by Mr. Victor del Rosario. It aimed to find out wheth6r mongo would thrive best in Cabuco, apply the technical knowledge in managing a mongo plantation and to give information to the farmers about mongo production or management. A 5,000 sq. m. land was plowed and harrowed twice before mongo seeds were evenly broadcasted after the second plowing sometime in August. Complete fertilizer was applied during the third week operation. First harvesting was done in October 14 and the second harvesting was in October 28. Mongo seeds were marketed in November 1Q at Trece Martires City and the farmer earned an income of 0985.00.
