<br/><br/> This farm practice was conducted at the Poultry Project of the Department of Animal Science, Don Severino Agricultural College, Indang, Cavite from August 24, 1990 to October 12, 1990 using 300 birds in one production cycle to gain managerial and/or supervising experience in applying the basic principles in broiler production. The birds had attained the marketable weight target after seven weeks of project operation. During the sixth week of the project operation, there was a slightly lower feed conversion efficiency which was attributed to the greater feed consumption of the birds. The percentage mortality of the birds from day-old up to seven weeks old is well within the acceptable limit.
