Crime prevention is one of the major challenges of modern society. In this research we designed and evaluated an application to support individuals in increasing their safety and to reduce the chances of becoming a victim. We build upon the concepts shown to be effective for crime prevention form several literatures and studies. We evaluated the proposed mobile application from our objectives: demographic profile of the selected residents of Indang, Cavite it includes sex age, and civil status, social media accounts do selected residents of Indang frequently used to gather information on crime prevention, level of acceptability of the developed crime map-based mobile application for crime resilient community of Indang, Cavite. The study was conducted from January 2019 to May 2019 in Indang, Cavite- The participants were residents of selected Barangays of Indang, Cavite including Barangay. Guyam, Barangay. Kaytambog, Poblacion, PoblacionA and Alulod, the study mainly focused on developing a crime map. based mobile application for resiliency community of selected Barangay of Indang, Cavite. Descriptive method was used in the study to determine the usefulness and acceptability of mobile application to the residents of selected Barangay of finding, Cavite. The participants were composed of 428 which divided into five which are Barangay Guyam, barangay kaytambog, Barangay Kaytapos,Poblacion 4 and Poblacion l . A self-made questionnaire was used as data gathering tool in the study. Based on the result of the study, mobile application was useful and accepted by the residents of selected Barangay of Indang, Cavite. Residents were agree that mobile application was an effective tool for crime prevention for crime resilient community of Indang, Cavite.
