The study was conducted from August 2018 to April 2019 in Cavite State University, Don Severino dc las Alas Campus in Indang, Cavite, that aimed to develop an electronic game management system for the football events in the annual Cavite State University Games. Specifically, the study aimed to: l. displays the score and time of the current football match; 2. record the scores of each game and be able to compare them; and
3. develop a ranking system using a software which will determine the standings of the participating teams and declare the winner of the tournament.
The system was developed using Java NetBeans Version 8.2 and XAMPP 7.1.7 following the development paradigm of incremental model. The system has three modules: match information module, record management module and statistics module, and can be accessed by thc match official only. It undergone several tests such as unit, integration, and system.
The system was evaluated by the players and committee members of the university football team. The system obtained an average mean of 4.84 denoting excellent in
descriptive interpretation. The result signifies that the system fully meets and far exceeds the most expectations of the evaluators. Some recommendations gathered during the technical evaluation were adding animations to the scoreboard and automatic scheduling of games.
