BARCO, JOEMAR VOD Agricultural Science Department Don Severino Agricultural College, Indang, Cavite March 1994 "RESPONSE OF ANTHURIUM TO DIFFERENT LEVELS OF TRICHODERMA ACTIVATED COMPOST AND ITS FREQUENCY OF APPLICATION" Adviser: Prof. Josefino A. Viado
The study entitled "Response of Anthurium to Different Levels of Trichoderma Activated Compost and its Frequency of Application" was conducted to determine the response of anthurium to different levels of Trichoderma Activated Compost and the best Frequency of applying it.
The study made use of the split—plot design with three applications which were used in each of the four treatments, namely: TO — Control; T1 — 25 go per pot; T 2 — 50 go per pot; and T3 — 75 go per pot. Applications were :
1— every 2 weeks; F2 — every 4 weeks; and F3 — every 6 weeks
Results showed that T 2 3F (50 go every 6 weeks ) was the best treatment ag good height and length of leaves were attained, It was followed by T 3 2F (75 go every 4 weeks), then followed by T 1 1F (25 go every 2 weeks). The least effective treatment was T (control) as it produced plants with poor growth,
