This project was undertaken to give the students the chance to apply their knowledge and skills in business management to the actual operation of the business. Specifically it aimed to describe the different activities involved in the production and marketing of the products, determine the profitability of the business and identify the problems encountered in operating and managing the enterprise and suggest solution to the problems. A three-month business operation of Keri Kovan was conducted in Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite from November 24, 2006 until February 28, 2007. The project was started with an initial capital of PhP20, 000.00 which was equally shared by the partners. The amount was used to purchase the necessary tools, equipment, raw materials and other miscellaneous expenses. The highest volume of production was recorded during the 2nd month of the operation followed by the 3rd month generating a sales of PhP8, 050.00. The entrepreneurial development project obtained a total sales of PhP24, 125.00 for the whole operation. The project obtained a total cash flow of PhP24, 645.53 coming from the initial capital of PhP20, 000.00. Results of the profitability analysis shows that the enterprise obtained a gross profit margin of 50.83 percent, return on a total assets of 30 percent and return on investment of 43 percent.
