The study aimed to determine the different (l }demographic profile of the respondents in terms of age, gender, educational attainment, employment position, employment status and monthly salary; (2) work motivation in terms of drive factor; control factor ; challenge factor ; relationship factor and reward factor; (3) services and professional policies; salary and fringe benefits; working conditions; interpersonal relations; and autonomy and recognition of achievement; 4) significant of work motivation and job satisfaction of single and married employee; (5) relationship of work motivation and job satisfaction of single and married employee. This research used descriptive-correlational and comparative type of study. The researcher has questionnaires regarding the work motivation and job satisfaction of single and married employees of San Technology Inc. in Rosario, Cavite. The researcher used the instrument of the Motivation Questionnaire from the knowledge of (MQ) John Smith to measure the variable-Work Motivation.
The researcher used an 80 item self-made questionnaire regarding the different factors of work motivation. Job satisfaction test lifted from Alano (2007) on her study entitled: demographic profile, job satisfaction and work value of faculty members in selected campuses of Cavite State University. The questionnaire measured the satisfaction that the employees get in working.
The study revealed that the higher work Motivation of married employee, the higher its satisfaction towards job. On the contrary, the lower the work motivation, the higher its satisfaction towards job.
Based on the study of Lobo (2001) conducted a study on work motivation and job performance of Development Bank of the Philippines Employees in Southeastern Mindanao, she determined the relationship between work motivation and job performance of Development Bank of the Philippines Employees. Results showed that the overall employees' work motivation was significantly correlated with their job performance.
