The study was conducted to determine the relationship of attitudes and practices of Filipino values among Filipino families in selected areas of Silang, Cavite. Specifically, this study aimed to: (1) identify the demographic profile of the respondents, (2) to determine the level of attitudes towards Filipino values of the families, (3) to determine the level of practices towards Filipino values of the families, (4) to know if the demographic profile influences the level of attitudes and level of practices of the respondents towards to the Filipino values and (5) to determine the relationship of level of attitudes and practices of the respondents towards to the Filipino values.
It was found out that majority of the respondents were in the age bracket of 36 to 45 years old and most were females. It was found out that most of the respondents were married and Catholic. It was also revealed that most of the respondents had 2 to 4 number of siblings. Age, number of siblings, civil status and religion of the respondents were found to had influence over their attitudes level while, it was found out that that gender and their role in the family had no significant influence to their level of attitudes.
The results also showed significant influence between respondents' level of practices and demographic profile in terms of number of siblings, civil status and religion specifically in the domain of religiosity, SIR and hospitality. On the other hand, it was also found out that the age, gender and role in the family does not influence the level of practices towards Filipino values.
Lastly, results of the study showed that the levels of attitudes of the families were related to their level of practices which meant that there were significant relationship between the level of practices and level of attitudes among Filipino families from selected areas of Silang, Cavite. And it also meant that they still had a positive way of thinking regarding to the selected Filipino values and they were still practicing our Filipino values
