Callao.<br/><br/>This research study was conducted in Amadeo, Cavite and Indang, Cavite from December 2012 to January 2013 in order to produce mosquito repellent candle using indian tree and neem tree extracts; determine the physical properties of the produced candles; and evaluate the effectiveness of the candle. The study also analyzed the presence of phytochemicals in both Neem and Indian tree leaves.<br/><br/>This study was conducted in Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with four treatments replicated four times. The treatments used were To- control; T)- 150 g of paraffin wax, 7 grams of neem tree leaves and 3 grams of indian tree leaves; T2- 150 g of paraffin wax, 5 grams of neem tree leaves and 5 grams of indian tree leaves; T3- 150 g of paraffin wax, 3 grams of neem tree leaves and 7 grams of indian tree leaves.<br/><br/>It was revealed that treatment 2 is the best treatment of all in terms of odor according to the respondents’ choice. In terms of color, treatment 0 ranked first. Treatment 1 is the best among all the treatments in terms of texture. All treatments in terms of general acceptability were preferred by the respondents and were rated as moderately acceptable.<br/><br/>Treatment 1 was observed to be the best among all treatments in terms of effectiveness. But among all treatments, only treatment 0 appeared to be ineffective.<br/><br/>
