A three-month enterprise development project operated from November 7, 2014 to February 4, 2015. The objective of the project was to expose the students in real life business environment and to apply the knowledge in business management through practical applications of the theories. The conduct of the project specifically aimed to describe the strategies used in producing and marketing Pindaboter products; determine the profitability of Pindaboter; and identify the problems encountered throughout the business operation and suggest feasible solutions to address the problems. The business was in the form of partnership. An initial capital of P30,000.00 was equally shared by the three entrepreneurs. All the duties and responsibilities to operate the project were also shared by the entrepreneurs. Pindaboter offered splendid array of peanut butter products, by adding nips, chocolate kisses, sprinkles and crunchy nuts. The products were distributed to target market across various retailers, schools, event organizers, bakery, special events, and family household. To promote the business, the entrepreneurs used consumer and trade-oriented sales promotion, internet marketing, and personal selling. They also joined trade fairs and exhibit to create awareness to the market. The business was able to generate a total sales amounting to P89,325.00 and obtained a net profit amounting to P 17, 826.11.
