The study used the descriptive research design, this method used a survey questionnaire for data gathering. The participants of the study were the five (5) medical social workers in hospital setting. The study found out that working opportunity of the medical social workers in hospital setting does not compensate the challenging work and responsibility in terms of promotion and economic aspect and only see it as self-fulfillment. They work with nothing more in return because they want to serve, help and contribute for the development of the patients. Medical social workers in hospital setting inspired by the patients and work for the patients. Their dedication in work measures their full effort and dedication in everything they do for the good of the patients and their families.
