Abstract: DEL ROSARIO, ARA D. and LUCERO, ICYLIE B. Community Development Strategies of Ma-Ma's Hope Haven of Norway Inc. and its Implication to Community Improvement in Tambakan, Sahud Ulan, Tanza, Cavite. Undergraduate Thesis: Bachelor of Science in Social Work Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. June 2019. Adviser: Mr. Renato T. Agdalpen, MA This study was entitled Community Development Strategies of Ma-Ma's Hope Haven of Norway Inc. and its implication to Community Improvement in Tambakan, Sahud Ulan, Tanza, Cavite. It aimed to determine the socio-demographic profile of participants in terms of age; sex; civil status; and year as beneficiary; identify the strategies of Ma-Ma's Hope Haven of Norway Inc. in helping the community of Tambakan, Sahud Ulan, Tanza, Cavite; to determine the extent of these strategies in affecting the development of Tambakan, Sahud Ulan; and determine the ffectiveness of these strategies and practices in the improvement of social work in working with communities. The study used quantitative-qualitative research design. The researchers used self-made interview guide questions for the community social workers and survey forms for the parents of the scholars. The survey forms were validated by the thesis adviser, technical critic, and three experts in the field. Results showed that the agency offered only few programs and services to the community, but the strategies employed in these programs and services still brought development to the community people most specially to those who were beneficiaries for a long time. The results gave positive response to the agency, showing that the scholarship and feeding program were very helpful to them.
