The study was conducted from January to February 2018 in the locality of Carmona, Cavite, to determine the impact of smoking ban. The study sought to determine the ordinance and how it was implemented and to determine the extent implementation of the ordinance and programs on smoking ban. Also, to identify the difficulties encountered in the implementation of smoking ban and the impact of smoking ban in the locality of Carmona, Cavite in terms of the prevalence of number of smokers and sales of cigarette in sari-sari stores. The study used descriptive and narrative design. The respondents were asked to answer the following questions regarding on the extent implementation of the ordinance and the impact of smoking ban. Frequency distribution, mean and standard deviation was used to determine the extent implementation of the ordinance. The findings of the study showed that the extent implementation of the ordinance were effective to a great extent also shows that smoking cessation programs also helped smokers to quit, provided that counseling services were offered for individuals willing to quit and found violating the ordinance. It also reveals that imposing a tough smoking ban regulation reduces smoking prevalence.
