Abstract: CABAUTAN, CHARICEL V. and DIEZ, NESSON C. Development of Management Elimination System for Barangay Tambo Ilaya, Indang, Cavite. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University Indang, Cavite. May 2018. Adviser: Ms. Vanessa G. Coronado. The study was conducted from August 2017 to May 2018 at Barangay Tambo Ilaya, Ind:mg, Cavite to develop a management information system for Barangay Tambo Ilaya, Indang, Cavite. Specifically, it aimed to 1. provide an easy access on issuing a needed certificate; 2. improve managing of records particularly the information of residents of the barangay and to easily update the residents' information; and 3. manage all barangay incidents and provide a list of names of residents who have case. Iterative Development Methodology was used as the methodology of the system. To implement the system, the Hypertext mark-up language was used as the programming language. The software was evaluated by 10 Barangay Officials from Barangay Tambo Ilaya and 10 IT specialists. The results were collected through an evaluation testing form based on ISO 9126. According to the overall evaluation results, the system was judged to be excellent in all software quality criteria such as functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, maintainability, portability, and user-friendliness. Upon the completion of the study, the researchers concluded that this would be a solution for the common problems encountered by the barangay especially in terms of managing the residents' information.
