Cavite State University, Indang Cavite. May 2017. Adviser: Ms. Rosylyn M. Amigo, PhD The purpose of this study was to present an overview of the research on "Impact of Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) to the beneficiaries in Dasmarinas City and Trece Martires City, Cavite. It aimed to determine the demographic profile of the beneficiaries in terms of age, sex, educational attainment, occupation and monthly income, determine the impacts of SLP to the beneficiaries, identify the problems encountered by the SLP to the beneficiaries, and cite the possible suggestions from the participants The research was supported by a quantitative approach specifically descriptive method, also known as the survey or normative approach to assess the impact of the Sustainable Livelihood Program of the beneficiaries in the city of Dasmarinas and Trece Martires in the province of Cavite. This quantitative design of the research focused on the inquiry of the socio-demographic profile, impact of Sustainable Livelihood Program in their lives, problems encountered by the beneficiaries and suggested desired of the participants. Moreover, this design will help the researchers to identify the specific topics that will help the agency to improve and/or develop the program for their beneficiaries. Data showed that through sources of income and family monthly income of the respondents qualifies them to become beneficiaries of the program. The problem encountered shows that the program of DSWD continues to assist the beneficiaries to achieve a well-state of community. Most of the beneficiaries' answers proved that even if they encounter problems, they do not mind it as a big deal, instead, they look into the bright side of the situation. The impact of SLP results shows that the objectives of the program are being met based on the responses of the participants as they described that the impact of the Sustainable Livelihood Program is "highly effective" to their lives.
