Abstract: MENDOZA, ALYZZA MARIE F. and PEST. ANO, EMERALD MAY B. Development of an Automated Multi-crop Pulverizer. Undergraduate Design Project. Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. December 2018, Adviser: Prof. Florence M. Banasihan. A study was conducted to develop an automated multi-crop pulverizer. The project aimed to create a pulverizer that can pulverize different types of crops at a short period of time, increase a community-based processing center for the community which focused their living on planting crops. The general objective of the study was to develop a multi-crop pulverizer. The study specifically aimed to design and construct a controller circuit; develop software for the operation of the system; test and evaluate the performance of the system; and conduct a cost benefit analysis of the system. The materials that were used in the system were: microcontroller unit, DC motors, relays, solid state relay, proximity sensor, DHT1 1, limit switches, LCD and buzzer. In comparison to the manual process, it can produce pulverized material for 6-8 hours. Drying and pulverizing the input materials were the main process that was done by the machine. Based on the result of the evaluation made, it was faster than that of the manual process and the output of the product is also acceptable based on the parameters considered for the quality. It has also reached the desired quantity of the output material for a small scale business. The study has met the objectives stated thus proven to be effective. The automated multi-crop pulverizer costs ₱ 52, 140.00.
