This study was conducted to design and test the effectiveness of promotional materials of Cavite State University's Bee Program. Specifically, the study aimed to determine the factors to consider in designing the promotional materials which are posters, stickers and tarpaulins and to identify its effectiveness to selected residents of Daine I, Daine Il, Tambo Balagbag, Tambo Kulit, Tambo llaya, and Tambo Malaki, Indang, Cavite. The study used descriptive method of research. Two sets of survey questionnaire were used in the study. The first set used convenience sampling technique to conduct the pre-survey to the 120 selected residents of Daine I, Daine Il, Tambo Balagbag, Tambo Kulit, Tambo Ilaya and Tambo Malaki, Indang, Cavite. The benchmark survey consisted of statements and questions about the respondents' lifestyle, educational attainment and their perspective on print layout and presentation to determine the factors to be considered in designing the promotional materials of CvSU's Bee Program. The second set of questionnaires utilized purposive sampling technique to select the 285 respondents of the study. The questionnaire consisted of statements and questions that determined the level of effectiveness of the promotional materials. Frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation were used in the analysis of data. The researchers designed and printed promotional materials such as posters, stickers, and tarpaulins and promoted Cavite State University's Bee Program by posting the said materials in the target locations. The findings of the benchmark survey were used to determine the factors to consider in designing the promotional materials. The design of the printed materials to promote Cavite State University's Bee Program were based on the respondents' lifestyle, educational attainment and their perspective on print layout and presentation. The result of the second set of questionnaires showed that the promotional materials were effective to the selected respondents of the study. Consequently, this study is being recommended to Cavite State University, specifically to the Department of Biological Sciences of College of Arts and Sciences, and Office of the Research, Extension, Continuing Education and Training Services; Cavite State University's Bee Program to use the design of printed materials made by the researchers; to AB Journalism students; to the future researchers; and to the community to attend seminars and trainings like Cavite State University's Bee Program
