Abstract: ASUNCION, FATIMA JOY S. and CORRALES, MELODY A., Online Research Submission and Evaluation System for Cavite State University. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. May 2018. Adviser: Mr. Mark Philip M. Sy. The study was conducted to develop an Online Research Submission and Evaluation System for Cavite State University that would help the research director, evaluators, and researchers on submitting and evaluating research proposals that apply for funding. In the development of the study, the proponents used the Iterative Development Methodology which includes initial planning, planning, analysis and design, implementation, testing, evaluation, and deployment. The developed system was assessed through criteria such as functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, maintainability, and user-friendliness of the system. It was evaluated by 50 non-technical participants and acquired a mean of 4.64 and standard deviation of 0.51. It was also evaluated by 10 IT Experts and it acquired a mean of 4.72 and standard deviation of 0.47. Thus, the developed system can be interpreted in both evaluations as excellent. The level of acceptance of the users was obtained, thus, success was established in meeting the requirements and expectations needed by the users.
