Bachelor of Science in Business Management major in Financial Management. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2015. Thesis Adviser: Prof. Dolores L. Aguilar. The study was conducted to determine the awareness and acceptability of mobile banking among residents in selected areas of Dasmarinas City and Imus City. Specifically the study aimed to: determine the socio-demographic profile of the residents of selected areas of DasmarinasCity and Imus City; measure the level of awareness and acceptability of mobile banking among residents; determine the mobile banking activities frequently done by selected residents; determine the significant relationship between mobile banking activities and socio-demographic profile of the residents; determine the significant relationship between awareness of mobile banking and socio-demographic profiles of the residents; and determine the significant relationship between acceptability of mobile banking and socio-demographic profiles of the residents. The study was conducted from November 21, 2014 to February 22, 2015 in Dasmarinas City and Imus City, Cavite. The respondents interviewed in Dasmarinas city were 100 and another 100 came from Imus City. Descriptive-correlational design was used in the study. Convenience sampling method was used and a survey questionnaire was given to the respondents to gather the data needed. The results revealed that the level of awareness of mobile banking among residents in selected areas of Dasmarinas City and Imus City were somewhat aware of mobile banking with an overall mean of 3.38 while the overall acceptability level of mobile banking among residents in selected areas of Dasmarinas City and Imus City were totally acceptable with an overall mean of 4.35. For the relationship of socio demographic profile of the residents to mobile banking activities, it revealed that there is no significant relationship between socio demographic profile and mobile banking activities except for the educational attainment. There is significant relationship between the socio demographic profile of the residents and awareness of mobile banking except for the nature of employment. For the relationship of socio-demographic profile of the residents and acceptability of mobile banking the study revealed that there is significant relationship except for the nature of employment.
