Abstract: NAZ, CESAR R. And PARCIA, MARK BHRAYAN R. Management Information System of the Kaong Elementary School, Silang, Cavite. Undergraduate Thesis, Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University, Indang Cavite. April 2014. Adviser: Mrs. Charlotte B. Carandang. The study was conducted to develop a management information system for the Kaong Elementary School. The study was conducted to develop a computerized records and to make work easier for improving the transaction within the school and to have an organized records of data. Software Development Methodology was used for the development of the system. It consists of six phases namely: analyze/planning, breakdown priority project, design module, code test and debug, integration of sub procedure and testing, integration to existing system, and test / implementation. In the development of the system, Windows 8.1 was used as the development platform, MSAccess 2010 for the database and Visual Basic 2006 as its primary coding language. The system comprised of seven modules: account management module, utility module, faculty management module, student information module, subject module, grading module and report module. The system underwent software evaluation and series of tests, and all criteria and objectives were met.
