Abstract: GERALDE, GELYN D. and RICO, SHAIKA B. Management Information System for Cavite State University - Marketing. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. January 2019. Adviser: Lydia D. Perido. The study was conducted from August 2017 to August 2018 at the College of Engineering and Information Technology, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite to develop a management information system for the Marketing Center of Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite to improve their business transactions and processes. Specifically, it aimed to: 1. develop a system capable of recording sales invoice and transaction records of books, uniforms and souvenirs using the sales module; 2. provide an organized recording of employee's debt records using the credit module; and 3. manage and generate the needed reports of the Cavite State University Marketing and Trade Center using the report module. The researchers used the Prototyping Model for the overall process in the development of the system. The methodology consists of phases are: initial requirements, design, prototyping, customer evaluation, review and updation, development, test and maintain. The developed system has five main modules namely: account management module, information module, inventory module, sales module and report module. It has four levels of access namely: the administrator, marketing staff, employee and EBA staff. The system was evaluated by fifty (50) respondents based on ISO 9126 which describes the software's functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, maintainability and portability. Technical evaluation showed that the system meets most of the requirements, while non-technical evaluation showed that the system meets the expectation of the clients.
