The study was conducted to determine the trend of openness of trade and Gross Domestic Product in the Philippines; determine the trend of labor force participation and wage and salaries of male and female workers in the Philippines; determine the gross enrolment of male and female students at the secondary level in the Philippines as an indicator of human capital; determine the trend of life expectancy of male and female in the Philippines; determine the trend of seats held by male and female in national parliament; and determine if there is a significant relationship between gender inequality and economic growth. Secondary data were utilized in the study. The Gross Domestic Product, labor participation rate of male and female, wage and salaried workers form the percentage of that total employment, life expectancy of male and female of the Philippines and the proportion of seat held by women and men in the national parliament is attained from the World Bank and United Nation Development Programmed While the Gender Parity Index and openness of trade is attain from the Global Economy. Each variable is converted to ratio of female over male and the value of each variable is between 0 arid 1, by 1 we mean gender sameness. In addition, the result of the Multiple Linear Regressions showed that the Openness of Trade, Ratio of wage and salaried female over male worker's and the ratio of life .4, ...- expectancy of female over male have significant relationship with the Gross Domestic Product. Ratio of life expectancy of female over male ratio of proportion of seat held by women over men in the national parliament has positive relationship with the Gross Domestic Product of the Philippines, yet openness of trade, ratio of labor participation rate of female over male, ratio of wage and salaried female over male workers and Gender Parity Index have negative relationship with Philippine Gross Domestic Product.
