The study on the "Design of Reinforced Concrete Flat Slab Bridge Along Kama gong Road at Cavite State University" was conducted at Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite from September 2000 to March 2001.
The main objective of the study is to provide the University structural plan, details, and specification, to conduct structural design and analysis and detailed cost estimate of the project. The study also aims to develop a scaled model to present the visual outcome of the design.
The study revealed that for reinforced concrete flat slab bridge whose length is greater than 8.00 meters, the reinforced concrete deck girder design was economical and should be adopted. The total cost of the project was P993,917.60.
