Abstract: VILLANUEVA, MARISOL AND JAROMAY, PAULIN. Design and Acceptability of Promotional Materials for Agri-EcoTourism Park in Cavite State University-Main Campus in Indang Cavite. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. June 2019. Adviser: Prof Racquel G. Agustin. The study was conducted from February to March 2019 in the tourism offices of Amadeo, Trece, Naic, Indang and Tagaytay City, Cavite. The objective of the study were to: determine the promotional materials that could be used to promote Cavite State University (CvSU) Agri-Eco Tourism Park; determine the factors to considered in designing the promotional materials; and determine the acceptability of the design of promotional materials. Descriptive research was used in this study. The researchers used qualitative and quantitative method in the study to determine the factors and acceptability of the printed designs of promotional materials. Interview guide and survey questionnaires were provided by the researchers. Based on the results of the benchmarking the promotional materials used by the researchers such as: tarpaulin, fliers, stickers; and their preferred design for the promotional materials were highly acceptable according to the acceptability of the study. The results revealed that the design of promotional materials were highly acceptable in terms of the indicators such as: sufficient information about the promotional materials; it has a message that is easily to understand; it uses a font type that makes the message clearer; it uses a font size that makes the message clearer; it has a proper arrangement of the text; it used the right choice of colors; it has the complimentary use of illustrations/clip arts; the overall layout catches attention; and the size of the materials is appropriate for its content.
