Abstract: ALANO REYMOND C., CRUZATE MEYNARD RYAN R., RODERNO EDISON G. Bubbles Dishwashing Liquid. An Enterprise Development Project. Bachelor of Science in Business Management major in Marketing. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2007. Adviser: Dr. Nelia C. Cresino. The study was conducted to enable the entrepreneurs to apply the gained knowledge in business management to the actual operation of the business. Specifically, the study aimed to: describe the operations of the business; determine the profit generated from the operation of the business; and identify the problems encountered in the operation of the business and provide feasible solutions to the problem. The project was conducted from December 1, 2006 to February 28, 2007 in the house of one the entrepreneurs in Banaba Cerca, Indang, Cavite. The project was a partnership type of business. It was operated and managed by the group who equally shared the capital, duties, responsibilities and profit. The process followed in producing dishwashing liquid includes preparation of ingredients, mixing, packaging and labeling of the product. For three month period, the enterprise produced a total of 1227 of 250m1 bottles of dishwashing liquid. In producing Bubbles Dishwashing Liquid, the entrepreneurs incurred a total cost of PhP22, 862.50 for the whole production period. The entrepreneurs produced dishwashing liquid, which were made available to customers in 250m1 bottle. The product was available in two scents, kalamansi and lemon. It was packaged in joy type bottles with sports cap. For a period of three months, the entrepreneurs sold 1123 bottles of dishwashing liquid which amounted to PhP30, 321.00. The product was sold by the entrepreneurs at PhP27.00 per bottle. In determining the price of the product, the entrepreneurs added a PhP9.80 mark-up or 56.98 percent to the cost per unit of PhP17.20. Of the 1123 bottles of dishwashing liquid produce were sold in Mendez, Indang, Trece and Tagaytay. The product was promoted through personal selling which involved direct delivery of the product to the customers in different towns. The product was sold on cash basis. For the three months period a net income of PhP7, 763.30 was realized. The total assets and equities of the enterprise amounted to PhP37, 763.30. The operation of the enterprise is said to be profitable as shown by an ROI of 25.87 percent, ROE and ROA of 20.56 percent. The problems encountered by the entrepreneurs in its operation were their limited knowledge in producing dishwashing liquid and the negative attitude of the buyers towards their products.
