A three- month field study was conducted at Golden Will Fashion Philippines Incorporated. in First Cavite Industrial Estate in Langkaa-n,Dasmarifia- s, Cavite to apply skills and knowledge learned in actual business operation. The study aimed to describe the operation of the firm in terms of production, marketing, and finance, and identify the existing problems of the firm and recommended solutions to solve the problems. The company produces high quality fashion apparel for market to USA, Germany and Asia. It markets the products through wholesale buyers abroad who distribute it to the final consumers. In its operation, numerous problems were identified such as having different nationality of the administrative officers, which caused misunderstanding not only in the production area but also in other department, and lack of qualified applicants in the production. The study focused on the activities and experiences of the author in the firm. She was assigned at the Personnel Department as Personnel Clerk and sometimes doing some duties in accounting and Import/ Export (IMPEX) departments.
Operation in production was explained to the trainee by the personnel officer. She learned different tasks in each department and found out some problems in the operation of the firm The trainee encountered problems such as operating the computer in opening of files about their current employees to know their respective department or lines, and bonding some regular office employee of the company uncomfortably. There is a conflict between the relationship of trainee and some office staff At the end of the study, it was realized that the activities of the different departments need to be coordinated to ensure the success of the whole organization.
