Abstract: BARREDO, MIA C., BRECINIO, EDUARD PAUL C., SABINO, VAN EXEL G. and VILLAROSA, JOHN YORK C. Development of an E-Learning System on Java Programming for Senior High School. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University, Indang Cavite. June 2019. Adviser: Prof. Jake R. Ersando. The study was conducted from August 2018 to April 2019 in Philippine Christian University, and College of Engineering and Information Technology. The general objective of the study is to develop an e-learning system for Java programming. It specifically aimed to: 1) design an E-learning system that helped the senior high school students in Java programming subject; 2) created an E-Learning system that have as user account module, lesson management module, practice exercise module, assessment module, announcement module, grade management module; and 3) test the system using unit testing and evaluate the system using ISO 9126. The methodology used was Iterative Development Model, the software used for the development of the system were PHP, My SQL and Adobe Photoshop CS3. The system was consists of six modules: user account module, lesson management module, practice exercise module, assessment module, announcement module and grade management module. The administrator, students and instructor are the users who can access the system. The researchers used unit testing for the testing of the system and the results are all passed. A total of 70 respondents evaluated the system based on the quality standards of ISO 9126. The system obtained an overall mean of 4.5 mean average with descriptive interpretation of excellent which signifies that the system met the respondents' expectations and initial system requirements set prior to the development of the system.
