Abstract: CUADRA, CHARLIE S. and TEJERO GEORGIE G. QRY: Development of A 2D Educational Attainment Android Game About Structured Query Language. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. January 2019. Adviser: Prof. Mark Philip M. Sy. The study entitled "QRY: Development of A 2D Edutainment Android Game About Structured Query Language" was conducted from January 2017 to December 2018. The study was developed to help the end-users enhance their knowledge in both Data Definition Language and Data Manipulation Language. Specifically, it aimed to: 1. identify all the possible problems of the study through conducting interviews and surveys; 2. analyze the problems identified by means of using Fishbone Diagram; 3. design an Android game that will help the end-users enhance their knowledge in both Data Definition Language and Data Manipulation Language; 4. design an Android game that will integrate educational and entertainment purposes; 5. design an Android game that will help the end-users learn while playing or being entertained; and 6. test and evaluate the study using ISO 9126. The researchers used iterative development process methodology in the development of the study. The methodology consists of five (5) phases: planning and requirement, analysis and design, implementation, testing, and evaluation. QRY: Development of A 2D Edutainment Android Game About Structured Query Language was develop using Piskel for creating 2D sprites, Audacity for audio editing, Unity for the development of the game, C# as the programming language, and Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 as an external script editor The system was assessed and evaluated using different testing methods namely: unit, integration, and system testing. After passing the tests, 90 students of BSIT and BSCS, and ten (10) Information Technology experts evaluated the system. The results for the technical evaluation obtained a grand mean of 4.69 and a standard deviation of 0.36. The results for the non-technical evaluation obtained a grand mean of 4.40 and a standard deviation of 0.66. The overall interpretation of the results of the evaluation is excellent.
