Science High School, College of Education, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite, March 2010. Adviser: Mr. Renato Agdalpen. The study was conducted in Mendez Nunez Montessori at Mendez, Cavite. It aimed to determine the relationship of cartoon shows to the level of sociability of the elementary pupils. Specifically, it aimed to determine the personal profile of the respondents; the kind of cartoon shows that respondents often watch; how often the respondents watch their favorite cartoon shows in terms of hours and days; the level of sociability of the respondents; and if there was significant relationship between the level of sociability of the respondents and the frequency of watching cartoon shows. A total of 154 pupils from Grades 1-VI were interviewed. The data were gathered through a questionnaire given to each respondent. Out of the data gathered and analyzed, the researchers found that there was no significant relationship between the frequency of watching cartoon shows and the level of sociability of the respondents. Although the pupils watch cartoon shows which are mostly educational, for at most four (4) hours daily, still they show high level of sociability.
