Abstract: ABEJUELA, JUSHUA AND CONOS, ALLYSA MARIELE F. " Effects of Technology in Teaching Physical Education to the Students of Cavite State University S.Y 2017-2018". Undergraduate Thesis. In partial fulfillment of the requirements for the Degree Bachelor of Physical Education. Cavite State University, Inclang, Cavite. Adviser: Prof. Mary Aim R. Cardines. The study was conducted to determine the effects of technology in teaching physical education to the students of Cavite State University, S.Y 2017-2018. Specifically, the study described the profile of participants in terms of age, sex, and course; effects of technology in teaching P.E; and student's behavior in school and at home. The participants were the students from CSPEAR in Cavite State University, Main Campus. The researchers used the quota sampling to determine the number of respondents. The main instrument used was adapted and modified by the researcher from Dr. Gary Natriello. This study used the descriptive method research. The majority of the participants was male and aged 18-19 years old. On their course taken result, shows that majority is BSRM. The result on the effects of technology in teaching physical education overall it got high effect or positive effect with the mean of 4.133 and standard deviation of 0178. An analysis of difference using anova was used to determine the significant difference on the effects of technology in teaching physical education_ The result revealed no significant difference when grouped according to their age_ But when t-test was used to get the significant difference when grouped according to sex and course, it reveals that sex has no significant difference while the course shows a significant difference with the p-value of 0.001. On the overall, the result reveals that the effect of technology in teaching Physical Education subject revealed high positive effects to BSRM compared to BPE which is positive effect only.
