Influence of Vice Ganda”s Way of Introducing LGBT in the Community to Selected AB Journalism Students of Cavite State University-Main Campus. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. May 2017. Adviser: Mr. Allan Robert C. Solis. This study was conducted from January to March 2017 to determine the level of influence to the Vice Ganda's posts on social media introducing LGBT in the community to the selected AB Journalism students of Cavite State University-Main Campus. Specifically, the purposes are to determine the level of exposure to the selected AB Journalism students of Cavite State University on Vice Ganda's posts on social media introducing LGBT in the community, to identify the perception of AB Journalism students of Cavite State University on Vice Ganda's posts on social media introducing LGBT in the community, to study the attitude of selected AB Journalism students of Cavite State University towards LGBT Community through Vice Ganda's post in social media; to determine the relationship between perception and exposure of AB Journalism students of Cavite State University towards LGBT Community through Vice Ganda's post in social media; and to identify the relationship between perception and attitude of AB Journalism students of Cavite State University towards LGBT Community through Vice Ganda's post in social media, and to identify the relationship between exposure and attitude of AB Journalism students of Cavite State University towards LGBT Community through Vice Ganda's post in social media. It used descriptive method of research to come up with the total of 128 respondents. A survey questionnaire was used in this study. Mean and standard deviation were used to analyze and tabulate the data. Based on the data gathered, the following findings were summarized: The selected AB Journalism Students seldom retweets, likes, comments and shares Vice Ganda's posts on social media; The selected AB Journalism Students disagreed that Vice Ganda may affect their perception towards LGBT community; The selected AB Journalism students disagreed that Vice Ganda may affect their attitude towards LGBT community; The study results revealed that there is no significant relationship between perception and exposure of AB Journalism students of Cavite State University-Main Campus towards LGBT community. Meanwhile, there is a highly significant relationship between the attitude and perception of AB Journalism students of Cavite State University-Main Campus towards LGBT community through Vice Ganda's post in social media and between the attitude and exposure of AB Journalism students of Cavite State University-Main Campus towards LGBT community through Vice Ganda's post in social media.
