Abstract: AJERO, EVANGELINE G. Readiness and Capability of Cavite State University to establish Printing Press: Basis for Program Enhancement. Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication Major in Journalism. Cavite State University- Main Campus, Indang, Cavite. April 2014. Adviser: Racquel Garcia-Agustin. The study was conducted to determine the readiness and capability of the Cavite State University to put up printing press under AB Journalism and BA Mass Communication Program: Basis for Program Enhancement. The research was then conducted from November 2013 to March 2014. The researcher performed documentation at CVSU administration and CASDLMC, observed the existing faculty, funding, and physical facilities. Interviews with the college dean, department head, officer-in-charge of EBA, CvSU's accounting officer and the operations manager of selected campuses in Cavite were necessary in determining the readiness and capability of CVSU to establish printing press under BAMC and AB Journalism program as basis for program enhancement. A basis for rating was formulated by the researcher with regard to the requirements of establishing printing press through the interviews and ocular visits that will be conducted in the selected campuses in Cavite. The researcher also conducted survey to the students of BAMC and AB Journalism program in establishing a printing press. The study revealed that the Cavite State University is 8() percent ready, 97.5 percent capable and the students "Strongly Agree" as they perceived the establishment of printing press.
