A study was conducted from September 1999 to June 2000 at the Fusarium Research Laboratory of the Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. The study was aimed to isolate and identify the fungi associated with lychee from CvSU nursery. A total of seven samples were collected from different lychee plant parts. From the samples, eighteen isolates and five genera of fungi were identified. They belonged to the genus Pestalotia, Ceratocystis, Curvularia, Fusarium and Aspergillus.
