Abstract: CRUZADO, MABELLEONA B. Performance Evaluation of Fermented Fruit Juice (FFJ) as Organic Fertilizer for Cucumber under Fertigation System. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2014. Adviser: Dr. Leyma L. Cero. The study was conducted to evaluate the performance of fermented fruit juice as organic fertilizer for cucumber under fertigation system through quantitative parameters. Twenty plastic pots were prepared for this study with different amounts of fertilizer applied to each plant represented by four treatments with five replications. Soil and nutrient analyses were performed to determine the nutrient content of soil and fertilizer. The growth performance of cucumber supplemented with FFJ and without supplementation was compared in terms of plant height and total number, size and final weight of fruits. Significant findings of the study showed that the treatment without FFJ was the best among the treatments in terms of macronutrients. In terms of plant height and length of fruits harvested, treatments supplemented with FFJ showed significant effect on the growth of cucumber. However, in terms of other parameters, results were not significant.
