Abstract: An income generating peanut production project was conducted at Cabuco, Trece Martires City from October, 1982 to February, 1983. The land was prepared by plowing twice followed by harrowing at an interval of about two weeks to allow weed seeds to germinate. Planting was done on October 13, 1982. Two to three seeds were planted in the furrows at a distance of one foot. Cultivation by hilling-up was done three weeks after germination to kill the weeds and loosen the soil. A combination of complete fertilizer (14-14-14) and Urea (45-0-0) was applied before planting by broadcast method. On the last week of January, the crop was harvested. A net income of P515.00 was obtained after marketing the produce.
