The case study of farming system of Dani lo Romero' s Farm was conducted from January to February 1993.
This was undertaken to: (1) describe the farm and its environment; (2) determine the cultural practices employed in the farm; (3) determine the profitability of the farming system; (4) determine the marketing practices followed; and ( 5) identify the problems encountered in production and marketing of the product.
Data used were obtained through personal interview with the farmer and other members of the family. Prepared questionnaires were also utilized. Farm visitation was done to obtain additional information
The data collected include management, production marketing and financial aspects
Results of the cost and return analysis show that Romero's Farm obtained a net profit of
P606,273.30 or a gross profit margin of 46.43 percent for 1992 operation. The profit margin means that the net profit or income obtained for the operation is 46.43 percent of the farm gross sale.
