Bago The design project entitled “Proposed Stone Masonry Levee Design with Self-Closing Flood Barrier in Balsahan Naic, Cavite” conducted at Cavite State University - Main Campus from September 2018 to April 2019. The study aimed to provide an efficient design of a levee and self-closing flood barrier to flood prone areas. The area was limited to Brgy. Balsahan Naic, Cavite. The total length of the area to design was 20 meters. The proposed design of levee has a self-closing flood barrier for the increasing floods. The total height of the design of the levee was 6 meters in total. The authors concluded that the design of the flood control system is efficient and effective enough to withstand the critical level of flood and for the flood half meters higher than the self- closing flood barrier. The total cost of the levee design with self-closing flood barrier was P 3,301,322.25 and the cost of the Self-Closing Flood barrier was depending to the height of the floodwater to be resisted. In our case P 2,781,920.

The design project entitled “Proposed Stone Masonry Levee Design with Self-Closing Flood Barrier in Balsahan Naic, Cavite” conducted at Cavite State University - Main Campus from September 2018 to April 2019.
