Abstract: BORLADO, CHARMA1NE N. and HUNTINGTON, KARISSA G. Proposed Analysis and Rehabilitation of Water Supply System of Brgy. Palocpoc, Mendez, Cavite. Undergraduate Design Project. Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. June 2019, Adviser: Engr. Larry E. Rocela. The study was conducted at Brgy. Palocpoc from August 2018 to May 2019 and was evaluated at Cavite State University under the Department of Civil Engineering. The main objective of the study was to analyze the current condition and propose a rehabilitation of the water distribution system of Barangay Palocpoc. Specifically the study aimed to: (1) develop a water supply system that will provide a sufficient water supply for 2027. (2) design an elevated cylindrical water tank. (3) provide a project cost estimate. The authors have provided a design of water supply distribution system at Barangay Palocpoc, Mendez, Cavite. The conduct of the study will be beneficial as it will provide a sufficient water supply for 2026 to the residents of the Palocpoc. The study has enhanced the researchers' knowledge regarding the field of works of a civil engineer utilizing various computer software like EPANET, CADD and STAAD. Architectural plans and structural plans of the proposed project were provided including manual computation of structural design. The total direct cost of the project was found to be P 9,541,323 based on the detailed cost estimate provided for the exclusive project. The proposed project of the water supply distribution system will be advantageous for future development and will provide the needfulness of water supply of the residents on the year 2027. Based on the results of the study, it is highly recommend a thorough study about the EPANET software and conduct a comparative analysis between manual hydraulics computation and EPANET simulation results in the analysis of the water distribution system.
