Abstract: TORIO, EDDIE M. and DELA CRUZ, WARREN “Educational Background and Qualifications of Junior High School Physical Education Teachers in Selected Public and Private High School in Mendez, Cavite". Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Sports and Recreational Management. Cavite State University. Indang, Cavite. May 2017. Adviser: Mr. Victor Piores. Generally, the study was conducted to determine the educational background and qualification of Physical Education teachers of Public and Private High School in Mendez, Cavite. Specifically, the study aimed to; describe the demographic profile of the Public and Private Junior High School Teachers in Mendez, Cavite; Determine the educational background and qualifications of the Physical Education High School Teachers in Mendez, Cavite. The study was conducted in seven (7) High Schools in the Municipality of Mendez, Cavite, respectively. Date were obtained through personal interviews with the 20 participants using an interview schedule. Data were analyzed using frequency count, mean, and percentage. The study found out that majority of the participants have their degree not related to any Physical Education courses.
