Pepper: An Interactive Personal Assistant.Undergraduate Thesis.Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Bachelor of Science in Information Technology.Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. May 2017. Adviser: Ms. Charlotte B.Carandang. This study was conducted from March 2016 to May 2017 at Cavite State University - Main Campus. The purpose of the study was to develop a personal assistant that helps the user in doing specific tasks such as finding definitions or synonyms of a word, saving recorded notes and a planner. Ninety random students and ten random instructors or IT experts from Cavite State University evaluated the system. The results were collected through an evaluation form based on ISO 9126, an international standard for evaluation of software quality. According to the overall evaluation for the non-technical results, the system was judged to be excellent in all aspects such as functionality, reliability, usability and user-friendliness. The system was also judged to be excellent for the technical in terms of functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, maintainability, portability and user-friendliness. It is therefore concluded that the software was able to perform the designated tasks that was assigned to it and able to give the users a satisfaction on using the software. | |
