520 3 _aRAMIZARES, ULYSIS V. and TEVES, WINBERT JAMES A. Design, and Implementation of Fuzzy Logic Algorithm for a Temperature Based Poultry Feed Dispensing System. Undergraduate Design Project. Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. May 2018. Adviser: Engr. Edwin R. Arboleda. The study aimed to design and implement a fuzzy logic algorithm for temperature based poultry feed dispensing system. The study used an LCD module to display the chosen age, real time ambient temperature, real-time clock, and the amount of feed dispensed by the system?). A memory storing device was used to More the data collected by the system. Fuzzy logic algorithm (FLA) was designed based on the thermo neutral zone of the chicken, which was the basis on the amount of feed to be dispensed by the system. The system was not capable of artificial intelligence (Al) but the logical analysis was based on the fuzzy logic algorithm. The unit was tested. The feed dispensed by the automated and manual system, feed vast and broiler weight were recorded. The objectives of the study were met based on the results of the evaluation. The system was able to dispense the feeds in varying ambient temperature. Technical evaluation showed that the device was able to function z. correctly when a digital thermometer and digital weighing scale compare the output of the device was also able to prove its functionality, usability, correctness, control, and reliability.
