The design project was conducted in Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite from November 1999 to March 2000 to investigate the CVSU sewerage system — Phase Ill; to describe the present situation of the sewerage system; to identify the existing problems regarding the sewerage system of the university and to provide recommendations and solutions to improve the sewerage system of the university. Results of the study revealed that the existing drainage systems in the university were found out to be ineffective. One of the examples is the storm drain of a building without any outlet which results to the flooding of building during rainy seasons. Another problem is the curve inlet which is placed at the whole side. It has no outlet which causes road surface flooding. In the incoming years, each structure to be built should take into considerations the proposed design to avoid problems in collecting the sewage to the main line. However, the strong water should be discharged into the stream if the building is to be built beside it rather than connecting it to the main line to lessen its cost.
