Bachelor of Science in Business Management, Major in Marketing Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2002. Adviser: Mr Roderick M. Rupido. The enterprise Booh Lei Native Products was established by four (4) Marketing majors at Barangay San Agustin, Trece Martires City from September 17, 2001 to February 22, 2002. The entrepreneurial project was aimed to enable the students to apply business management skills and knowledge to actual business situations. Specifically, it aimed to identify and adopt marketing strategies in the operation of the enterprise. The enterprise marketed bags, wallets, coin purses, penholders, cellphone holders, and trays to determine its profitability and identify problems encountered in the operation of the project and suggest possible solutions to the problem identified. An initial capital of P 40,000.00 was shared by the proponents as fund for the four and half months operation of the project. Twenty three thousand one hundred fifty five pesos ( P 23,155.00 ) was allocated for the purchase of raw materials such as buli, ribbon, plastic and linen paper. The remaining capital was used for tools, furniture and fixtures and as payment for monthly miscellaneous expenses such as space rental, transportation and labor costs. During the four and half month operation, the enterprise gained a total revenue of P67,293.00. At the end of the operation, the enterprise gained a total net income of P13,166.00 based on the income statement of the project.
