COVID-19 crisis made an impact on the context of Philippine education, educational institutions shift courses to virtual classrooms. The purpose of this study was to explore and deeper understand the Lived Experiences of Social Work Students of Cavite State University amidst COVID-19 Pandemic. This study was intended to identify the lived experiences of the social work students towards the new learning system and personal experiences amidst the pandemic, specifically: (1) to determine the experiences of the students about the new learning system in terms of (a) physical (b) social (c) spiritual (d) educational and (2) To draw the unique experiences of the social work students. Using qualitative, narrative analysis, this study used in-depth individual interviews to collect data from eleven (11) participants. Interviews thru google meet were recorded, transcribed, and thematically analyzed. Based on the result, the social work students have gone through different experiences in the new learning system such as in the physical aspect such as comfortable, lack of sleep/feeling sleepy, delayed eating due to online class, poor eyesight, headaches, and tiring, In the social aspect, the good thing is that you have a friend or classmate who is there to help you, but some participants can hardly socialize with their professors, friends, and colleagues. In the spiritual aspect, their faith became powerful despite the pandemic because their beliefs empower them and give them hope amidst the pandemic. Lastly, in the educational aspect, most of the participants experienced various challenges such as lack of resources, multiple responsibilities, technological issues, and inability to focus/easily distracted, and they had been subject to challenging situations such as being in a quarantine facility, multiple responsibility, financially unstable, a family member was a COVID-19 survivor, working student amidst pandemic, experiencing anxiety while in the boarding house, COVID-19 survivor, and undergone surgery.
