Espineli The study was conducted from June to August 2022 covering the four municipalities in upland Cavite, namely: Alfonso, Amadeo, Indang, and Mendez. Participants from 18 to 82 years were selected in the study. Most of them are female, married, college graduate and craft related work. When it comes to the level of public trust towards Covid-19, all indicators under transparency, accountability and responsiveness are all moderately trusted. The level of responsiveness of LGU toward Covid-19, in terms of health and safety protocols, crisis communication, government assistance and access to health services were evaluated to be very effective. It was found out that there is no significant difference among municipalities in upland Cavite in terms of level of effectiveness to LGU response towards Covid-19 and level of public trust towards LGU amidst Covid-19. In addition, there are no significant differences on the domain / sub domain variables in the level of effectiveness and the level of public trust, likewise, no significant relationship between the level of effectiveness and level of public trust of LGU in selected municipalities in upland Cavite was established. The best practices of the selected municipalities in upland Cavite are implementation of barangay health emergency response team, check points and inspection for authorized person outside and inventory of vaccinated populations in the municipalities.
