A study was conducted to analyze the employees' compensation package of Malayan Insurance Company, Inc; to describe the organization and management of the firm; determine the employees' compensation package; compare the benefits of the Malayan Insurance Company, Inc. with the other existing insurance companies; and identify the problems encountered regarding compensation package and to recommend feasible solutions. Data and information about the compensation package of the employees were gathered through surveys and interviews with the employees of the firm who were randomlyy selected and with the aid of questionnaires. Some employees of three other insurance companies were also given questionnaires. Malayan Insurance Company, Inc. compensation package was compared to the Premiere Insurance and Surety Corporation, RICO General Insurance Corporation and FIL SMS Insurance Corporation. Malayan Insurance Company, Inc. offered, More benefits compared to the three selected non-life insurance companies in terms of hospitalization benefits, dental benefits, educational benefits, medicine allowance, optical benefits, study leave and wedding gifts. I. Malayan Insurance Company, Inc. encountered several problems such as non-payment of overtime work and employees had very slim chances of being promoted. Malayan Insurance Company, Inc. should provide payment for overtime work of the employees and give consideration to promote its employees.
