Estrada. The Enterprise Development Project was conducted to develop and enhance the ability and skills of the students to make them equipped in operating and managing business in the future. Specifically, it aimed to use eggplants as a prime ingredient in a commercially prepared product, introduce and produce a variety of new products with the use of eggplants in selected towns of Cavite, and determine project viability by using appropriate methods of analysis. The enterprise Talong Product Varieties was conducted from February 11 to March 6, 2008. The enterprise was located in one of the entrepreneurs' residence at Block 4 Lot 18 Villa Celina Town Homes, Phase 2, Bayan Luma 7, Imus, Cavite The duties and responsibilities of the three entrepreneurs were identified and performed that resulted in the smooth operation of the enterprise. The activities in the enterprise were equally distributed. They were all responsible for the marketing of the products and procurement of materials needed. The enterprise accepted orders and distributed their products personally to the final consumers. An initial capital of PhP 10, 000.00, that was equally shared by the entrepreneurs was used for the operation of the project. The total raw material purchased for the project amounted to PhP3,279.40. The remaining capital was used to purchased other needed materials. During the one-month operation, the enterprise gained total sales of PhP6,400.00. At the end of the operation a total net income of PhP2,070.60. During the operation of the business, the problems encountered include limited period of time, shelf life of the product, fluctuating prices of raw materials, consumer buying behavior, and difficulties in marketing, and collecting of payments from the costumers. Through this entrepreneurial project, the students' managerial capabilities, and social and decision-making skills in handling a business were developed.
