Amarille This study was conducted to determine the relationship of perceived barriers and Vocational Identity of Selected High School Students in Indang, Cavite. Specifically, this study aims to determine the barriers perceived by the respondents in terms of financial barriers, intellectual barriers, familial barriers and environmental barriers; to determine the level of vocational identity of the respondents; to find out the significant relationship between perceived barriers and vocational identity of the respondents; and what perceived barriers affect most the vocational identity of the respondents. The questionnaire was administered to 180 senior high school students in Indang, Cavite; sixty-four (64) students from the Perpetual Cavite Institute (PCI), twelve (12) from Daine Western Cavite Institute (DWCI), seventy-four (74)from Lumampong National High School (LNHS), and thirty (30) from Laboratory Science High School. They are likely to seek a sense of meaning or purpose in their lives and have a greater tendency to look towards the future through the conceptualization of an adult identity. The result further showed that environmental barriers or the change in the circumstances in the community and other things that are happening within the surroundings have a great impact to every individual who wants to have a good future.
