JOSEPH P. BANDA, NIKKI ARIS M. COLUMNA AND JONATHAN H. OCAMPO. Design and Development of Electronic Microphone Switching System for the Conference Room of CEIT. Undergaduate Design Project, Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. May 2005. Adviser: Engr. Edwin R. Arboleda.
The project Design and Development of Electronic Microphone Switching System for the Conference Room of CEIT was conducted at Panungyan, Mendez, Cavite. The project's general objective was to design a circuit that will control the microphone switching system. The project is composed of three individual FM transmitters and three corresponding FM receivers. The receivers are controlled by a mixer, and the output is connected to an amplifier and the speaker system. The project was evaluated at the New Engineering Building on February 2005. During evaluation the evaluators noticed feedback and low voice quality. After making proper adjustments, which included retuning the receivers and changing the batteries, the system was again evaluated at the Conference Room of the CEIT on May 2005. The minimum distance between transmitters is 5 feet and between the closest transmitters to the receiver in getting the optimum operating conditions is 20 feet. This was determined by adjusting the distance of the transmitters, receivers and speakers until no er ignorable feedback occurs.
