Different densities with corresponding depths showed sigxificant differences in the drying rate and drying time Of coffee; Drying coffee beans at lower depth and density gave the best result in tems of drying rate and drying time (25 lcg/m at 3033 foMC/hour and 41065 hours, 50 kg/m2 at 2.94 *MC/hour and 45033 hours, 100 kg/m at 2059 *MC/hour and 53 hours) 0
The machine costs but it gave a net return of The pay—back period of the dryer was 0098 years and the break even point was 792 cans per year.
